About Us

We loved the idea of good, everyday food coming from somewhere you know and trust. Fresh eggs, proper bread, milk on the doorstep — the sort of simple local service that used to be completely normal but has gradually disappeared from many communities.

So, from those first few chickens, The Milk Round Company Ltd was born.

Our idea is simple: bring the traditional doorstep milk round into the modern world.

That means milk, fresh eggs, bread and everyday essentials delivered directly to your door, alongside a growing range of products made by us. As we grow, we want to introduce more of our own produce and homemade favourites — the sort of things we’re proud to put our name on.

But we also wanted to do things differently behind the scenes.

We don’t believe ordering your milk should be complicated. Customers can simply create their own account, choose what they’d like and manage their deliveries online. You’ll be able to see your orders and payments clearly, pause deliveries when you’re away and know exactly what you’re paying for.

There are no call centres and no enormous faceless organisation behind us.

We’re Andy and Chris — two ordinary local people building a local business from the ground up.

And although we’ve grown a little beyond those first chickens, the principle hasn’t changed:
