Our commitment
The Milk Round Company takes food allergies and intolerances seriously. We supply and deliver a range of food and drink products, some of which contain one or more of the 14 regulated allergens.
Our range regularly includes products containing milk and cereals containing gluten (including wheat). Other allergens may also be present within products supplied through our service.
Product allergen information
Where products are supplied to us prepacked by a manufacturer or supplier, customers should always check the product’s original ingredients and allergen information before consumption, particularly as manufacturers may change recipes or ingredients.
Where allergen information is provided on our website, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it reflects the information supplied to us. However, customers with allergies or intolerances should check the information supplied with the product at the point of delivery before consuming it.
Online and doorstep orders
We aim to make allergen information available to customers before an order is completed and at the point of delivery, as appropriate to the product concerned.

Storage, handling and delivery
The Milk Round Company operates a multi-product doorstep delivery service. Products containing different allergens may therefore be transported within the same delivery vehicle.
We use appropriate handling, storage, cleaning and segregation procedures designed to minimise the risk of accidental contamination. Products are kept in their original packaging wherever applicable, and damaged or leaking products are not knowingly supplied.
However, because our delivery operation handles products containing multiple allergens within a shared storage and transport environment, we cannot represent the delivery environment itself as allergen-free.
Customers with severe allergies should therefore consider the manufacturer’s allergen information and any precautionary allergen statements on the individual product and contact us if they require further information before ordering.
Damaged packaging or spillages
Any product found with damaged, leaking or compromised packaging should be removed from sale. Where a spillage occurs, affected equipment or storage areas will be cleaned in accordance with our food-safety and cleaning procedures before being returned to use.
Changes to products
Product recipes, ingredients and allergen information can change. Customers should therefore check the label each time they receive a product, even where they have purchased the same product previously.
